The Birth Announcement finally arrived!

Christmas 2008

We were planning to celebrate Christmas in the Carlyle with Papa till the moment Papa suprised us to come home for Christmas!




So the presents went from the car back under the tree..........




........ and Darja & Lukas started to prepare for Christmas dinner;

What about pizza for Christmas eve.












In the morning after breakfast time to open the presents that Santa Claus brought to us.

Papa is home!

More snow.....

Too much snow; we can not make a snowdoll as we are not able to get into the garden. Let's make some pictures and get back inside because the temperature is -11 C

A lot of Presents in the morning, dinosaurs, cars and..................

the the best one is the gift of aunt Heleen; she gave birth to Jander !

In the afternoon we went to paint pottery with all new friends of Lukas'school. We ate pizza and he got a lot of presents.

Halloween

Halloween 2008

On October 31st we were in New York to visit Daddy, it was Halloween and New York seened to be the perfect place to celebrate our first Halloween. It is a nice american tradition and it is amazing to see how people put effort in decorating their houses. See below some examples:

I believe it looks great but Anne-Sophie & Lukas are not convinced. But as soon as they discovered the candy they enjoyed it as much as I did or even more.......

Georg moves to the Big Apple!

After staying home for 2 months, Georg found a new job as Hotel Manager in New York. Enough reason to drive to New York on a monthly basis to visit daddy ........






and to spend some family time together walking through the city and visiting the Zoo in Central Park! We love NY....
